How long do I have to retrieve my property?
This varies by lender and location, but generally, you’ll have a limited window (e.g., 10-15 business days). Call us to confirm your timeline.
Can someone else pick up my personal items for me?
Yes, but they must be authorized by you in writing and bring valid identification.
Can I get my car back from Pegasus?
No. We do not release vehicles directly to owners. Please contact your lender to discuss reinstatement or payoff.
What if I believe my car was taken in error?
Contact your lender first. If you still need support, submit a feedback form and we’ll help direct your concern appropriately.
What are the fees to get my vehicle or property back?
Fees vary based on your lien holder. We cannot provide redemption fees until we receive a release.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Bring a valid photo ID, exact cash if fees are due, and keys for vehicle redemption.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We only accept exact cash.
What are the redemption hours?
Redemption hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
What can I expect at a property appointment?
Your lien holder does require that we clean vehicles out of all property. We cannot store any perishable food, flammable liquids, or illegal drugs. Those items will not be returned. Anything mounted, bolted or attached to a vehicle must remain with the vehicle. You will not be given access to your vehicle.
What happens if I’m late to my appointment?
We provide a 10 minute grace period. Past 10 minutes, you will need to reschedule.
How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment, click our Schedule button. You will need the last 6 digits of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to proceed.
We do not offer same-day property appointments. First available times will be displayed. You will receive a confirmation of your appointment the day before. The confirmation will confirm fees (if applicable) as well as the address.

We do not make decisions about payments, extensions, or vehicle returns. Please contact your lender directly for those questions.
Our agents wear body cameras at all times. This protects both you and our staff and helps ensure respectful, clear interactions.
Your personal property will be held securely for a limited period, as required by law.
We cannot store food, weapons, or hazardous materials.
